Practical boundaries before you process a file.

Is this the same as PDF to JPG?

No. PDF to JPG renders whole pages. Extract Images tries to recover raster image objects embedded in the PDF.

Will it extract vector drawings?

No. This tool extracts raster image objects only. Vector artwork and text are not image files.
